I'm Alan and I live in the Liverpool surburb of Woolton here in the UK, not far from where The Beatles did their first gig.
At the time of writing (April 2006) I'm 42 years old, young, free and single - well at least two of the three. I'll let you make your mind up as to which one no longer applies.
I work in IT having undertaken a career change in my mid thirties from Finance. I have a twin sister, strangely the same age as me, along with two gorgeous nieces (I've bought the shotgun already!)
I'm pretty physically active and continue to ride my bike, mountain walk and hit the gym three times a week.
I'm currently renovating a house that I purchased in 2005 and whilst not a structural renovation its taking a lot of my time.
It's been a mad few years and I want the world to stop so I can get off!
